🤖 Technical Presales Engineer | AI | Voice AI | Agentic AI | Enterprise Technology📍 Dubai✈️ Regular travel across the GCC💰 AED 25,000 - 30,000 + benefitsWe’re working with an innovative Dubai-based AI technology company that is building and deploying enterprise AI products across the Middle East, with customers spanning government, aviation, transport and telecommunications.They’re now looking for their first dedicated Pre-Sales Engineer, someone who can combine strong customer-facing skills with genuine hands-on technical capability. This isn't a traditional pre-sales role where you'll spend your time creating presentations. You'll be involved from the first technical conversation with a customer through discovery, solution design, demonstrations, POCs, proposals and SOWs, before handing the solution across to the delivery team.The company is developing technology across three major areas:AI Voice – Real-time AI voice agents combining speech recognition, LLMs and speech synthesis, integrated with telephony and enterprise contact-centre platforms.Agentic AI – Multilingual AI assistants capable of authenticating users, interacting with enterprise systems and completing real-world transactions.AI Vision – Computer vision and video analytics using existing CCTV infrastructure for operational intelligence and reporting.Their technology can be deployed within the customer's own data centre, on-premise or through sovereign cloud environments — particularly important for organisations with strict security and data-residency requirements.You’ll work directly with enterprise customers to understand their technology landscape and turn their requirements into solutions that can actually be delivered.You'll:Lead technical discovery sessions with customers.Understand existing contact-centre, telephony, backend, identity, security and infrastructure environments.Design end-to-end AI solution architectures.Build working demos and Proofs of Concept yourself.Configure AI voice agents and connect them to customer APIs.Work with SIP, telephony and contact-centre platforms.Design cloud, on-premise and sovereign-cloud deployments.Define integration architecture and performance requirements.Size infrastructure and GPUs based on expected workloads and concurrency.Run technical workshops with enterprise architects, IT teams and partners.Support technical RFPs, security assessments and customer questionnaires.Write technical proposals and SOWs with clear scope and assumptions.Work closely with Product and Engineering to identify gaps between customer requirements and current product capabilities.We're looking for someone who is equally comfortable speaking to a customer and getting hands-on with the technology.You'll ideally bring:5+ years within Pre-Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering or Solutions Architecture.Alternatively, a strong Software/AI Engineer with significant customer-facing experience.Experience within AI, telecom, CPaaS, contact-centre technology or enterprise software.Hands-on programming experience with Python or TypeScript.Strong REST API and systems integration knowledge.Docker and containerisation experience.Strong Linux and command-line skills.Solid networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, NAT, VPNs and TLS.Experience with at least one major cloud platform – AWS, Azure, GCP or Oracle Cloud.Practical experience building with LLMs, including prompting, RAG and tool calling.Understanding of Kubernetes, SSO/OIDC, encryption and network isolation.The ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Particularly Valuable ExperienceExperience with any of the following would be a major advantage:Genesys, NICE, Avaya or Cisco contact-centre environmentsSIP and enterprise telephonyTwilio, Vonage, Telnyx or AsteriskNVIDIA / GPU infrastructureOn-premise AI deploymentsComputer Vision / Video Management SystemsMilestone or GenetecGCC government or large-enterprise customersUAE public-sector security frameworksISO 27001 / ISO 42001Arabic language capabilityWhy This Role?This is an opportunity to become the first dedicated Pre-Sales Engineer within a growing AI product team, working directly with the CTO and playing a significant role in how enterprise AI solutions are designed and sold across the GCC.You'll be joining at a stage where you can genuinely shape the function rather than inherit an established process.If you're a hands-on Solutions Engineer or Solutions Architect who wants to work at the forefront of Voice AI, Agentic AI and sovereign enterprise AI, I'd love to hear from you.📩 Get in touch for a confidential conversation.
