AVA is committed to combining advanced technology, reliable quality, and user-focused design to create impactful experiences for customers across diverse markets.Role Description The Technical Presales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for supporting the sales team by understanding customer requirements, designing technical solutions, and presenting AVA’s audio-video and smart home offerings to prospective clients. Day-to-day activities include preparing and delivering technical demonstrations, responding to RFPs and RFQs, creating solution proposals, and providing technical guidance throughout the sales cycle. The Technical Presales Manager collaborates closely with internal teams to ensure accurate solution design, participates in product trainings, and gathers feedback from the market to support product improvements. The role also involves occasional customer site visits, coordination with regional partners, and ensuring that proposed solutions meet both technical and commercial expectations.QualificationsStrong analytical skills to assess customer needs, evaluate technical requirements, and translate them into effective solution designs.Demonstrated team management abilities to coordinate with sales, technical, and operations teams and support presales activities across the region.Hands-on technical support experience, including troubleshooting, solution configuration, and assisting customers with implementation-related queries.Exposure to research and development (R&D) or working with product teams to provide market feedback and contribute to solution enhancements.Proficiency in project management for coordinating presales engagements, managing timelines, and aligning deliverables with client expectations.Solid understanding of audio-video systems, AI/IoT smart home technologies, and related industry standards.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related technical field; equivalent experience may be considered.Proven experience in a presales, solution engineering, or technical consulting role, preferably within AV, smart home, or IT/technology sectors.Ability to work on-site in Dubai, travel within the region as needed, and adapt to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
