Technical Program Manager

Location : SuzhouLanguage : English and ChineseTravel: Between China and VietnamWe are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead the end-to-end execution of next-generation industrial automation, motion control, and electrical control systems. Based in China, you will act as the technical anchor bridging overseas engineering requirements with our local design, R&D, and hardware manufacturing infrastructure. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in automation components (sensors, machine vision, motion controllers) and can translate complex technical requirements into physical, high-performing product lines.QualificationsR&D & Automation Experience (Mandatory)Minimum 3+ years of hands-on R&D experience in industrial automation, robotics, or intelligent equipment design.Proven track record in automation systems, including deep familiarity with PLCs, motion control, sensors, machine vision, or remote I/O modules.Strong New Product Introduction (NPI) background, with experience driving hardware from early-stage R&D concepts through to laboratory validation and testing (EVT/DVT).Solid technical foundation in interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and firmware integration workflows.Education & LanguageBachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) to seamlessly bridge global R&D teams with local engineers.Program Management SkillsDemonstrated experience managing technical timelines, tracking R&D milestones, and mitigating engineering risks.Proficiency in modern project tracking tools like Jira, Confluence, or hardware PLM software.Exceptional cross-functional communication skills to challenge technical designs and align matrixed teams without direct authority.
