Technical Program Manager

We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to take end-to-end ownership of multiple concurrent software and technology projects, ensuringsuccessful delivery across technology, people, processes, client expectations, andcommercials.This is a technically driven program and delivery leadership role, not purely projectcoordination. The ideal candidate should have a strong software engineering/technicalbackground, sound understanding of modern application architecture and cloudtechnologies, and proven experience managing multiple projects, cross-functionalteams, and client engagements.Experience in AI/ML, Generative AI, LLM, Agentic AI, or AI-enabled project deliverywill be an added advantage.Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects/programs, fromrequirements, estimation and planning through development, UAT, deployment,and support transition. Manage scope, timelines, resources, budgets, dependencies, risks, quality,and delivery commitments across concurrent projects. Work closely with Architects and Technical Leads on solution design,estimations, architecture, integrations, and technology decisions. Review and challenge technical approaches to ensure solutions are scalable,secure, maintainable, and aligned with business requirements. Lead cross-functional teams including Developers, Technical Leads, Architects,QA, DevOps, UI/UX, BA, AI/ML Engineers, and other specialists. Drive Agile/Scrum delivery, sprint/release planning, program governance, RAIDmanagement, and management reporting. Act as a key client interface for technical discussions, governance, statusreviews, delivery commitments, and escalations. Proactively manage scope changes, delivery risks, dependencies, resourceconstraints, and client escalations. Monitor project/program financials including planned vs. actual effort, resourceutilization, billing milestones, budgets, and delivery margins. Ensure adherence to engineering practices including code reviews, CI/CD,testing, security, documentation, release management, and productionreadiness. Support pre-sales activities including requirement analysis, solution discussions,estimations, resource planning, SOWs, and technical proposals. Mentor Project Managers, Technical Leads, and senior team members whiledriving accountability, delivery discipline, and continuous improvement.Technical CompetenciesThe candidate is not expected to code on a daily basis, but must be technicallystrong enough to understand, evaluate, and challenge engineering decisions.Strong understanding of: Modern software development lifecycle and engineering practices Web and enterprise application architecture APIs, microservices, system integrations, and databases Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP DevOps, CI/CD, Git, containerization, and deployment processes Application security, performance, scalability, and production monitoring Agile/Scrum methodologies Exposure to AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, or AI-basedsolution delivery is an advantage Familiarity with AI tools, platforms, APIs, or frameworks such asOpenAI/Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face,or similar technologies is an added advantageExperience with technology stacks such as Java, .NET, Python, Node.js, PHP,ColdFusion, React, Angular, Vue, mobile technologies, or similar enterprisestacks will be advantageous.Required Experience & Skills 8–14 years of overall experience in software development/technology delivery. Minimum 5 years in Technical Project Management, Program Management,Delivery Management, or similar leadership roles. Proven experience managing multiple concurrent software projects andcross-functional engineering teams. Prior hands-on software development or strong technical engineering experienceis highly preferred. Experience delivering medium-to-large projects for external/enterprise clients. Strong understanding of estimation, resource planning, project financials,utilization, and delivery margins. Experience delivering AI/ML or GenAI-based projects will be a plus. Experience working with international clients, particularly North American,European, or Middle Eastern customers, is advantageous. Excellent client communication, stakeholder management, leadership,problem-solving, and decision-making skills. PMP/PRINCE2, Scrum/SAFe, AWS/Azure/GCP, ITIL, or similar certifications areadvantageous but not mandatory.Success MeasuresSuccess will be measured through on-time and within-budget delivery acrossprojects, project quality, client satisfaction, resource utilization, estimationaccuracy, delivery margins, risk management, reduced escalations, teamperformance, and repeat business/account growth.Ideal CandidateA technically grounded program and delivery leader who can comfortably movebetween multiple project priorities, client discussions, architecture reviews,sprint/release planning, resource challenges, commercial concerns, and escalations.The ideal candidate should be able to ask engineering teams the right technicalquestions, communicate complex issues to clients in business language, makepractical delivery decisions, and take clear ownership of overall program and delivery outcomes.
