Get on the ground and help deliver the technology infrastructure behind some of the world’s most exciting live environments. About the RoleWe’re looking for a Technical Project Coordinator – ICT & Optic Delivery to join PMY Group and play a hands-on role in delivering ICT, network and optic infrastructure projects across our live environments. This is more than a traditional project coordination role. We’re looking for someone who wants to be close to the action – working alongside project managers, engineers, technicians, contractors and clients to get technology deployed, tested and operational. You’ll help coordinate projects from planning through to implementation, with a particular focus on optic fibre, structured cabling, network infrastructure, site delivery, testing and commissioning.Whether you’re coordinating contractors, tracking a deployment, working through an installation issue or supporting commissioning on site, you’ll be someone who likes to roll up your sleeves, understand the detail and help get the job done.About YouYou’re technically curious, organised and proactive, with a genuine interest in how technology gets delivered in the real world. You enjoy being on the ground where things are happening and are equally comfortable coordinating a project plan, working with a technical team in a comms room or talking through an issue with a client or contractor. You don't need to know everything on day one, but you do need the drive to get into the detail, ask the right questions and take ownership when something needs to move forward. Most importantly, you’re not someone who waits for problems to solve themselves. You’re a doer who enjoys working with others to get projects across the line. You’ll bring:Experience supporting the delivery of ICT, telecommunications, network, fibre/optic or technology infrastructure projects.Practical knowledge of optic fibre and structured cabling, ideally including installation, patching, testing and commissioning.A solid understanding of networking fundamentals including switching, routing, firewalls, VLANs and VPNs.Experience coordinating technicians, contractors, vendors and technical resources.Confidence working on active project sites and alongside technical delivery teams. The ability to understand technical documentation, drawings, scopes and project requirements.Strong organisation skills and the ability to keep multiple workstreams moving at once.A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and willingness to take ownership.Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients and stakeholders.Experience within venues, major events, sport, entertainment, construction, telecommunications or other complex live environments will be highly regarded.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the end-to-end delivery of optic fibre, structured cabling and ICT/network infrastructure projects.Coordinate site activities including installation, patching, testing, commissioning and handover.Work closely with project managers, network engineers, technicians, subcontractors and vendors to keep delivery moving.Coordinate technical resources, equipment and materials to ensure teams have what they need, when they need it.Assist with optic pathways, rack layouts, patching schedules, equipment deployment and technical documentation.Track project activities, milestones, dependencies and deliverables and proactively follow up anything putting delivery at risk.Support testing and validation to ensure infrastructure is installed and performing as designed.Help troubleshoot and coordinate the resolution of technical issues during deployment and commissioning.Identify project risks, issues and bottlenecks early and work with the wider team to resolve them.Maintain accurate project and technical documentation through delivery and handover.Build strong working relationships with clients, contractors, vendors and internal technical teams.Contribute to technical solutions, scopes and proof-of-concept activities for new opportunities.Be willing to roll up your sleeves and get involved on site when the project needs it.Contribute to a safe and healthy workplace in accordance with PMY's Occupational Health and Safety policies and relevant legislative requirements.About PMYEMPOWERING LIVEPMY is a global provider of technology, data, and creative solutions for the live environment.
