We work at the intersection of automotive engineering and digital innovation, enabling next-generation mobility solutions through modern technology, data-driven decision-making, and AI-enhanced workflows.About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead complex automotive connectivity programs, with a particular focus on infotainment systems and over-the-air (OTA) updates throughout the product lifecycle.This position requires a strong technical understanding combined with proven project leadership and commercial awareness. You will coordinate technical teams and counterparts across multiple disciplines, translate complex technical topics into clear project decisions, and ensure that delivery objectives, budgets, timelines, and stakeholder expectations remain aligned.The role can be based in the Stuttgart or Frankfurt region—or between these locations—and follows a hybrid working model. Depending on project requirements, you will work from our Frankfurt or Stuttgart office, from home, and occasionally at customer or partner locations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end project management for automotive connectivity, infotainment, and OTA programs—from concept and development through integration, launch, and lifecycle operationsCoordinate cross-functional teams across software, hardware, connectivity, system architecture, cloud and backend services, UX/HMI, testing, integration, and vehicle operationsManage OTA-related activities throughout the lifecycle, including release planning, validation, deployment coordination, monitoring, and continuous improvementServe as the central interface between technical teams, customers, suppliers, management, and commercial stakeholdersUnderstand and structure complex technical topics, dependencies, and decisions while ensuring clear communication across technical and non-technical audiencesDefine and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, milestones, risks, and deliverablesCoordinate commercial aspects of the project, including effort estimation, budget tracking, change requests, resource planning, and alignment with contractual commitmentsEstablish effective project governance and apply agile, classical, or hybrid methodologies suited to automotive hardware-software environmentsCreate and maintain transparent project reporting, live dashboards, KPIs, risk registers, decision logs, and management updatesUse data and AI-supported tools to improve planning, forecasting, reporting, risk identification, and decision-makingProactively identify technical, organizational, and commercial risks and coordinate appropriate mitigation measuresDrive continuous improvement of project processes, collaboration models, and delivery performanceRequirementsProven experience as a Technical Project Manager or in a comparable project leadership role within the automotive industryStrong experience with automotive connectivity, connected vehicle services, infotainment systems, or related digital vehicle platformsPractical understanding of OTA update processes and lifecycle management, ideally covering both vehicle-side and backend-related activitiesGood understanding of complex automotive hardware-software architectures, system integration, interfaces, testing, and release processesDemonstrated ability to coordinate technical experts and engage confidently in technical discussionsStrong automotive industry knowledge, including development processes, supplier structures, quality expectations, and product lifecyclesProven track record of managing project budgets, commercial commitments, change requests, and delivery performanceExperience working with distributed, cross-functional teams, customers, and external suppliersFamiliarity with modern project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and dashboard or reporting solutionsExperience with data-driven project reporting and an interest in using AI-enabled tools to improve project deliveryStrong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsStructured, proactive, and solution-oriented working styleAbility to operate effectively in fast-paced, technically complex, and innovation-driven environmentsWillingness to travel to customer, partner, and office locations when requiredProfessional fluency in English; German language skills are a strong advantageLocation and Working ModelHybrid working modelFrankfurt, Stuttgart, or a suitable location between these regionsCombination of office-based work, home office, and occasional work at customer or partner locationsWhat We OfferThe opportunity to lead cutting-edge automotive connectivity, infotainment, and OTA programsA modern, technology-driven project environmentStrong focus on innovation, automation, data transparency, and AI integrationA high level of ownership and direct influence on project delivery and working methodsCollaboration with experienced automotive, software, and digital specialistsAn entrepreneurial culture with short decision-making pathsFlexible hybrid working arrangementsCompetitive compensation and individual development opportunities
