Technical Project Manager

We are working with a global and leading international business in the travel and mobility space. Headquartered in Europe with teams across four continents, the company is investing heavily in technology, and its Dubai office sits at the centre of that roadmap. They are now looking for a Technical Project Manager to join them.The opportunityYou will own the full project lifecycle across software development and business IT initiatives, from initiation through to deployment and adoption. Working alongside software developers, product owners, operational stakeholders and third-party suppliers, you will make sure projects land on time, on budget and with real business impact.What you'll be doingLeading the planning, execution, monitoring and delivery of software and technology projectsBuilding and maintaining project plans, schedules, budgets and resource allocationsManaging scope, risks, dependencies and change requests, with clear reporting to senior leadershipFacilitating Agile delivery: sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectivesTranslating business requirements into actionable technical deliverables with architects, BAs and testersSupporting release planning, deployment activities and post-implementation reviewsBuilding strong stakeholder relationships and driving successful user adoption of delivered solutionsWhat we're looking forProven experience as a Technical Project Manager, IT Project Manager or Software Delivery ManagerA track record of delivering software development projects using Agile methodologiesStrong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)Experience working directly with software engineering teamsConfident managing budgets, timelines, risks and senior stakeholdersThe ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiencesComfortable operating hands-on in a fast-changing environment with globally distributed teamsBonus points forExperience in transportation, logistics, mobility, fleet or travel technologyFamiliarity with APIs, system integrations, data platforms and cloud environmentsPRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM or Scrum certificationWhat's on offerA Dubai-based role with genuine ownership of a growing technology project portfolioThe chance to shape delivery practice inside a business scaling its technology functionA competitive package
