You won't design individual metrics or build the underlying data pipelines yourself - that sits with the metrics analysts and engineering team - but you'll need to understand enough of the technical delivery chain (data sourcing, requirements definition, engineering handoff, dashboard implementation) to manage scope, sequencing, and dependencies realistically. Think technical PMO function embedded in a data and controls program, not a generalist project coordinator. What You'll DoOwn the technical delivery plan across the metrics program, sequencing work across data requirements definition, engineering build, and dashboard rolloutIdentify and maintain the overall scope of metrics required, translating between business stakeholders and the engineering team building the underlying pipelines and dashboardsEstablish and manage engagement models with multiple technical workstreams, keeping dependencies and hand-off points visibleOwn and track the book of work, including technical blockers, data availability issues, and engineering capacity constraintsCoordinate directly with engineering leads on requirements intake, prioritization, and delivery timelinesSupport governance reporting, escalation tracking, and RAG status across the technical book of workAct as the connective tissue between control owners, metrics analysts, and engineering so nothing falls through scope or technical gapsWhat You'll NeedExperience managing technical programs or projects, ideally involving data pipelines, reporting platforms, or engineering delivery, within financial servicesComfort working directly with engineering teams on requirements, technical dependencies, and delivery timelinesExperience managing a multi-stakeholder book of work with competing timelines and technical dependenciesAbility to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders without needing a translator in the roomStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsComfort building and maintaining delivery plans, tracking scope, and reporting status across technical workstreamsNice to HaveExperience in a cybersecurity, technology risk, or controls environment.Familiarity with control assurance concepts, KPIs, OKRs, and how metrics tie back to demonstrating control effectiveness.Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory context.Prior exposure to vulnerability management, identity management, or firewall tooling environments.Experience working with BI or reporting tools like Power BI, even if not hands-on building them.
