Technical Project Manager

Roles and RESPONSIBILITIES · Ensure the operational stability, integrity, and availability of products & services supported by the team.· Ensure compliance with relevant Service Management Standards, and high data quality exists in Service Management systems of record – and compliance with all additional controls and standards where relevant· Provide support in identification and resolution of all incidents associated with the IT service, as directed by leadership· Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered· Support and coordinate engineering changes to infrastructure with the customer /user experience as a key objectiveSKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Proven experience coordinating complex technology transformation and migration projects in enterpriseenvironments.
• Experience leading the transition of workloads from VMware vSphere to Red Hat OpenShift, from planning throughexecution and operational handover.
• Strong understanding of both virtualisation and container platforms, including vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, clusters,networking and storage
• OpenShift architecture, projects/namespaces, workloads, routes, storage and security concepts
• Application dependencies, interfaces, databases, monitoring, backup and recovery requirements
• Ability to develop and maintain an integrated transition roadmap covering assessment, design, build, migrationwaves, testing, cutover and decommissioning.
• Experience coordinating application, infrastructure, platform, network, storage, security, architecture and operationsteams.
• Strong dependency-management skills, ensuring that technical prerequisites, application readiness and operationalrequirements are understood and tracked.
• Experience defining migration waves, prioritising workloads and coordinating migration activities with minimaldisruption to business services.
• Strong understanding of migration planning, including Workload discovery and classification; Application andinfrastructure dependency mapping; Compatibility and readiness assessments; Capacity and performance planning;Security and compliance requirements; Cutover, rollback and recovery planning
• Proven ability to manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and decisions, with clear escalation whererequired.
• Experience coordinating testing activities, including functional, integration, performance, resilience and operational-acceptance testing.
• Strong governance and reporting skills, including preparation of status reports, steering-committee materials,milestone tracking and management information.
• Experience managing project plans, deliverables, actions and decision logs using appropriate project-managementtools.
• Ability to coordinate change-management activities, ensuring that migration changes are assessed, approved,scheduled and communicated in line with established processes.
• Experience planning and coordinating operational handover, including support models, documentation, monitoring,backup, patching, incident procedures and service acceptance.
• Understanding of financial, licensing and capacity considerations associated with platform transformation anddecommissioning legacy infrastructure.
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical topics into clearproject-level decisions.
• A structured, delivery-focused and collaborative approach, with clear ownership of outcomes and the ability to driveprogress across organisational boundaries.
• Very good English-language skills, both written and spoken
