The Technical Project Manager reports to the Head of IT & Digital and will work on projects that will cover technical operations, infrastructure, and IT strategy. This role ensures all technology systems and applications effectively support business objectives. The Technical Project Manager will work closely with a team of IT professionals, manage vendor relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional departments to align technical operations with both internal and client needs.Responsibilities•Develop and execute strategies for the design, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage systems, and cloud platforms.•Ensure the availability, scalability, and security of technical systems to meet business requirements.•Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure efficient IT service delivery.•Oversee the IT operations budget, track expenditures, and identify cost optimization opportunities.•Ensure regulatory compliance, industry best practices, and security standards in data privacy, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery.•Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard IT infrastructure and sensitive information.•Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for consistent IT performance.•Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, promoting knowledge sharing and cross-functional teamwork.•Lead IT project management efforts, including system implementations and technology upgrades.•Advise senior management on IT strategy, aligning technology with business objectives.•Monitor system performance to ensure seamless IT service delivery.•Identify areas for improvement, vulnerabilities, and upgrade needs.•Stay updated on emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on business operations.•Provide leadership, guidance, and training to IT staff, ensuring timely resolution of reported issues.Qualifications•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).•Relevant certifications (e.g., CIO, ITIL, PMP, CISSP, Cloud certifications) are a plus.•Minimum of 8+ years of experience in technical operations, infrastructure management, or IT leadership.•Strong expertise in cloud computing, cybersecurity, ERP/CRM systems, and data analytics.•Proven experience in leading large-scale IT projects and digital transformation initiatives.•Ability to translate business needs into IT strategy, focusing on ROI and cost efficiency.•Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
