ObjectiveLead the FY'27 Technical Publications Transformation Program to design, develop, and deploy a modern Technical Information Management System (TIMS) that enhances content reuse, improves authoring efficiency, optimizes publication costs, and accelerates time-to-market through modern architecture, processes, and technologies.Experience Required15+ years of experience in Technical Publications, Content Management, or Digital Information Management.5+ years leading large-scale Technical Publication transformation programs.Proven expertise in DITA/XML, CCMS, Information Architecture, and Enterprise Content Management.Experience implementing end-to-end authoring, review, translation, publishing, and content reuse workflows.Experience working with Engineering, Service, Parts, Manufacturing, and Digital Product teams.Strong program management and stakeholder management capabilities. Key ResponsibilitiesDiscovery & AssessmentStudy current Technical Publications ecosystem, processes, tools, and governance.Conduct stakeholder workshops across Engineering, Service, Parts, Product Support, and IT teams.Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, duplication, and improvement opportunities.Information ArchitectureDefine future-state Information Architecture.Establish content classification, taxonomy, metadata, and content models.Create scalable authoring and publishing frameworks.Technical ArchitectureDefine TIMS/CCMS architecture and technology roadmap.Evaluate and recommend authoring, review, publishing, translation, and content delivery platforms.Ensure integration with PLM, ERP, Service Systems, Digital Service Platforms, and Engineering systems.Content Reusability StrategyDevelop enterprise content reuse framework.Define topic reuse and conditional publishing models.Establish content governance and ownership structures.Create reusability matrix across products and document types.Topic-Based Authoring FrameworkDefine topic structures and modular content architecture.Standardize templates and content models.Establish DITA/XML-based authoring standards.Publishing FrameworkDesign automated publishing workflows.Define multi-channel content delivery strategy.Implement responsive and digital-first publishing models.User Roles & GovernanceDefine author, reviewer, approver, publisher, translator, and administrator roles.Establish governance and workflow controls.Create RACI matrix and process ownership model.sBOM-Based Parts InformationDefine strategy for integrating Service BOM (sBOM) with Parts Manuals.Establish automated parts manual generation process.Align engineering data/eBOM with technical publication outputs.Workflow OrchestrationCreate end-to-end workflow from content creation through publishing.Automate review, approval, change management, and release processes.Implement KPI-driven publication management framework.
