Technical Recruiter – High-Growth AI StartupSan Francisco | On-site 5 days per week | $150,000–$215,000 + equityI’m partnering with one of the fastest-growing AI infrastructure businesses in the US as they continue to scale their engineering organisation.Following significant venture funding and exceptional growth, the business is expanding rapidly and is looking to hire an experienced Technical Recruiter to join its growing Talent team in San Francisco.This is an opportunity to join at a relatively early stage and have genuine influence over how the company attracts, assesses and closes some of the strongest technical talent in the AI market.The roleYou’ll own full-cycle technical recruitment across areas including:Software EngineeringMachine Learning / AIInfrastructureThis goes well beyond simply managing vacancies.You’ll partner directly with engineering leaders and senior executives to understand hiring requirements, shape talent strategies and build recruiting processes that can scale with the organisation.You’ll be responsible for:Owning searches from initial sourcing through assessment, offer negotiation and closeDeveloping creative outbound strategies to engage highly sought-after technical talentBuilding strong relationships with passive Engineering and ML candidatesPartnering closely with technical leadership on hiring plans and candidate profilesBuilding and improving interview processes, recruiting infrastructure and sourcing strategiesManaging pipelines and hiring velocity using data and funnel metricsDelivering an exceptional candidate experience throughout the processWhat we’re looking forWe’re particularly interested in recruiters who have:2+ years’ technical recruiting experience across Software Engineering, ML/AI or Infrastructure, ideally with 4–8 years overall experienceStrong full-cycle recruitment experience, including sourcing and closing candidatesExperience working within an early-stage or hyper-growth technology companyA track record of engaging difficult-to-reach technical talentStrong stakeholder management with Engineering leaders and senior executivesThe ability to operate with pace, autonomy and high attention to detailExperience recruiting within highly competitive AI/ML talent markets would be particularly valuable.We’re especially interested in people who have worked in environments where they’ve had to build rather than simply inherit recruiting processes and infrastructure.The opportunityThe company is building technology at the heart of the rapidly expanding AI ecosystem and has already secured significant backing from leading global technology investors.The organisation is scaling rapidly, creating a genuine opportunity for the successful person to help shape the recruiting function rather than joining an established corporate Talent team.Location: San FranciscoWorking pattern: 5 days on-siteSalary: $150,000–$215,000Equity: Competitive packageIf you’ve recruited exceptional Engineering or ML talent within a high-growth technology business and want to play a key role in scaling the next generation of AI infrastructure, I’d be keen to hear from you.
