Technical Release Manager

We are looking for a Technical Release Manager who will take ownership of the software delivery and release flow across multiple engineering teams.In this role, you will act as the technical coordination point between engineering, QA, DevOps, IT and project stakeholders, ensuring that releases are predictable, well-organized and delivered with high quality.You will join an expanding infrastructure and engineering organization and help improve release processes, remove delivery bottlenecks and support teams in moving toward more efficient and reliable software delivery.Your responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end release processes across multiple engineering teams
• Own release planning, readiness tracking, dependencies and risk management
• Ensure smooth coordination between developers, QA, DevOps, IT and project stakeholders
• Track release scope, milestones, blockers and technical dependencies
• Support integration, testing and production deployment activities
• Drive improvements in release processes, automation and delivery workflows
• Help teams resolve build, integration and deployment-related issues
• Improve transparency around delivery progress and release readiness
• Create and maintain lightweight release procedures, documentation and best practices
• Support continuous improvement of engineering delivery processesRequirements4+ years of experience in release management, release engineering, DevOps, build engineering, technical project delivery or a similar role Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and release processes Practical experience with Git workflows, branching strategies and version management Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices Experience coordinating technical deliveries involving multiple teams Ability to understand technical challenges and communicate effectively with both engineers and business stakeholders Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Proactive mindset with ownership of delivery quality and reliability Fluent English communication skills Nice to have: Experience with cloud environments (Azure is a plus) Experience with infrastructure, networking or platform engineering environments Experience with containerized or microservice-based applications Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation Experience in telecom, enterprise or other mission-critical environments Scripting or programming experience Benefits Opportunity to work in an international engineering environment Key role in improving delivery processes and engineering collaboration Hybrid working model with weekly 2 office visits in Budapest (10th district) Possibility for occasional international travel Munkaerőkölcsönzői nyilvántartásba vételi szám: VA/FMMF-KIO/000208-5/2024Munkaerő közvetítési nyilvántartási szám: VA/FMMK-KIO/005473-2/2022
