Commercial Business Development Specialist – PolyurethaneDubai, UAE | Middle East & AfricaWe are currently supporting a fast-growing international manufacturer of polyurethane materials and speciality chemical solutions with the appointment of a Techno-Commercial Business Development Specialist based in Dubai.This is a newly created opportunity for a commercially driven professional to take ownership of business development across the Middle East & Africa (MEA), identifying new market opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships and supporting the continued growth of a growing polyurethane portfolio.The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of technical expertise and commercial development, working closely with customers to understand their requirements, identify appropriate material solutions and convert technical opportunities into long-term business.Key responsibilities will include:Developing new business opportunities across the MEA regionBuilding and maintaining relationships with key customers and strategic accountsIdentifying new markets, applications and commercial opportunitiesManaging the sales process from initial engagement through to commercial developmentProviding technical and application support to customersWorking with customers on product trials and technical requirementsCollaborating with internal R&D, technical and commercial teams to develop customer-specific solutionsMonitoring market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunitiesSupporting the expansion of the company's polyurethane technologies across the regionTarget BackgroundWe are particularly interested in professionals with experience within polyurethane, polymers or specialty chemicals, combined with a strong commercial or business development track record.Relevant product experience could include:Polyurethane / PUPolyolsTPUPU SystemsPU ResinsPU AdhesivesPU CoatingsWaterborne PolyurethaneSynthetic / Artificial LeatherFootwear MaterialsExisting experience across the Middle East and/or Africa would be particularly advantageous, although strong international candidates with relevant market and product expertise will also be considered.If you have a background in polyurethane, polymers or speciality chemicals and are interested in discussing a regional commercial opportunity in more detail, please get in touch for a confidential conversation.
