Technical Sales Support Engineer – Fire ProtectionSharjah, UAE | Travel across the Middle EastSalary: to AED 15,000 per monthRapidrop is looking for an experienced Technical Sales Support Engineer – Fire Protection to join our team in Sharjah, providing technical and engineering support throughout the tender and project lifecycle across the Middle East.This is a varied technical and commercially focused role, working closely with Sales, Procurement and our UK Quality and Technical teams to develop accurate, compliant and commercially competitive solutions for our customers.What you will be doing:Reviewing project specifications, tender documentation and engineering drawingsPreparing material take-offs, quantities, estimations and technical proposalsSupporting the preparation of competitive commercial quotationsUndertaking engineering and hydraulic calculations for fire protection systemsProducing technical drawings using AutoCAD or similar softwareSupporting product selection and identifying value engineering opportunitiesPreparing technical submittals, compliance statements and clarification documentsResponding to technical queries from customers, consultants and contractorsEnsuring proposals comply with relevant international standards and approvals, including NFPA, EN, LPCB, UL and FMAttending technical meetings with customers, consultants and contractors across the Middle East when requiredWhat we are looking for:A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering or a related disciplineSignificant experience within fire protection design and engineering, ideally around 10 yearsStrong knowledge of sprinkler systems, gas suppression systems, fire pumps, standpipe systems, valves, fittings and pipeworkStrong working knowledge of NFPA standardsExperience in tendering, estimating and preparing material take-offsStrong AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detailGood commercial awareness and the ability to communicate technical information clearlyHydraulic calculation software and Revit/BIM experience would be advantageousWillingness to travel across the Middle East as requiredIf you have a strong fire protection engineering background and enjoy combining technical expertise with commercial and customer-facing work, we’d love to hear from you.Apply now to join Rapidrop and support our continued growth across the Middle East.#Rapidrop #FireProtection #FireEngineering #TechnicalSales #EngineeringJobs #UAEJobs #SharjahJobs #AutoCAD #NFPA
