Technical Security Consultant

Personal and career development is really important to us, and you can expect our investment in you to include personalised development opportunities combined with a competitive salary and benefits.Objectives of This RoleDeliver technical security consultancy services to clients within a construction environmentDelivery of projects from initiation to completionProvide project management services for clientsDaily and Monthly ResponsibilitiesManagement of projects using allocated resourcesChair client meetings and workshopsWeekly reporting of project status to team leadProduction and delivery of project documentsUndertake design developmentWork closely with risk management, design, support and specialist teamsManaging travel arrangementsProject budget managementDeliver against personal Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Experience NeededA minimum of 7 years’ experience in the security industryHighly experienced in technical/physical security measures (CCTV, ACS, IDS, HVM, Doors, Walls, etc)Experience conducting projects in both public and private sector environmentsExperience in project and programme managementExperience with RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) stagesExperience in the production of technical and business reportsEducated to a degree level or suitable vocational qualificationsRecognised professional membership/certification (e.g. MSyI, CsyP, CSMP M.ISMI, PSP, CPP)Prince2 or an equivalent Project Management qualification is advantageousCrucial Skills and CompetenciesSecurity systems engineering and design knowledgeEngineering lifecycle knowledge and skillsCompetency in the use of MS office applicationsAn understanding of Networks and IT infrastructuresExcellent communication skillsCommercially awareResult orientedOpen-minded – integrative thinkerCustomer service mindsetThe above description details the role’s core activities and is not inclusive of all duties required as a team member.
