Apply & track with Apply EdgeTechnical Service Manager - Medical Device Salary: 140,000 - 160,000 THBLocation: Bangkok Keywords: service strategy, medical device industry, team development, customer satisfaction, technical leadership, equipment maintenance, cross-functional collaboration, regulatory compliance, service revenue growth, Bangkok What you'll do: Develop and execute comprehensive annual service strategies and action plans that align with overall company objectives and drive sustainable business growth.Manage all aspects of service revenue, profitability, budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, and operating expenses to achieve agreed financial targets.Establish, monitor, and continuously improve key service performance indicators such as MTTR (Mean Time To Repair), FTFR (First Time Fix Rate), NPS (Net Promoter Score), CRR (Customer Retention Rate).Analyse detailed service performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and customer outcomes.Oversee daily service operations including installation, preventive maintenance, repair activities, troubleshooting, and technical support to maximise equipment uptime.Plan manpower deployment and manage service resources effectively to ensure timely support delivery while maintaining high standards of quality.Ensure consistent achievement of service quality benchmarks and customer satisfaction metrics by adhering to established KPIs and service standards.Handle escalated technical issues and customer complaints with empathy and professionalism to guarantee effective resolution within agreed timelines.Lead, coach, mentor, and develop the Service team through regular feedback sessions, technical training programmes, knowledge sharing initiatives, and individual development plans.Drive additional service revenue streams through contracts, renewals, warranties, upgrades, value-added services while managing spare parts inventory for cost efficiency. What you bring: A university degree in Medical Instrumentation, Electronics or Bio Engineering is essential; an MBA qualification would be considered advantageous for broader business acumen.At least ten years' proven experience in equipment servicing or maintenance roles within the medical device industry is required for this senior position.Demonstrated ability to lead large technical teams with compassion-providing mentorship while fostering accountability among team members.Exceptional customer orientation combined with advanced problem-solving skills enables you to address complex challenges empathetically.Comprehensive IT proficiency encompassing hardware systems management as well as familiarity with operating systems and networking protocols is necessary.Excellent command of spoken and written English allows you to communicate clearly across diverse internal teams as well as external stakeholders.Experience managing budgets-including forecasting revenues/expenses-and optimising resource utilisation for maximum efficiency is highly valued.A track record of successfully handling escalated technical issues or customer complaints demonstrates your commitment to positive outcomes under pressure.Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements relevant to medical devices ensures all activities adhere strictly to industry standards.
