The successful candidate will serve as a key technical resource for customers and internal teams, drive application development activities, support formulation research, and provide technical expertise to strengthen customer relationships and business growth.The role is responsible for planning and executing application development projects, conducting formulation and testing work, supporting customer requirements, and ensuring technical service activities are completed accurately and on time.In Your Future Role as Technical Service Specialist - Paints & Coatings, You Will:Maintain and promote a safe work environment by complying with all safety policies and procedures.Follow safe laboratory and field work practices to ensure personal and workplace safety.Plan, perform, prioritize, interpret, and report experimental work.Develop and evaluate industrial coatings formulations and applications.Provide technical solutions to product and process-related challenges.Support the sales organization and customers through technical service activities and customer visits.Conduct application testing, troubleshooting, and performance evaluations.Design experiments and develop new test methods as required.Prepare and deliver technical presentations at internal and external meetings, seminars, and conferences.Collaborate effectively with customers, distributors, sales teams, R&D teams, and colleagues across global locations.Maintain and enhance expertise in coatings technology, formulation science, and application development.Maintain application testing equipment and laboratory facilities to support technical service and development activities.Identify new product opportunities, technical solutions, and application areas within the industrial coatings market.Recommend and communicate technical solutions and development directions to customers and internal stakeholders.Ensure all technical service and application development tasks are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.We Believe You BringBachelor's Degree in Chemical Technology, Chemistry, Polymer Science, Coatings Technology, or a related discipline.
