Technical Sourcer

They're hiring their first dedicated Technical Sourcer, reporting directly to the Head of Talent. This is a founding role with real ownership. Every hire you source moves the needle for the company.What You'll DoDevelop sourcing strategies for technical roles across AI, machine learning, research, software engineering and related functionsIdentify and engage high caliber passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, GitHub, research communities, professional networks and other channelsBuild targeted market maps and talent pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needsWrite thoughtful, personalized outreach that communicates the company's mission and opportunitiesPartner with recruiters and hiring managers to define target profiles and refine searches based on market feedbackAssess candidates' backgrounds, technical relevance, motivations and potential fitTrack pipeline activity, response rates, conversions and other sourcing metrics in Gem and the recruiting systemExperiment with new tools, search methods, communities and sourcing channelsWhat We're Looking For3+ years of technical sourcing experience, ideally within an AI company or high growth technology startupExperience sourcing software engineers, machine learning engineers, research engineers, applied scientists or related technical talentStrong working knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Ashby, Juicebox or similar toolsAbility to translate technical hiring requirements into focused sourcing strategiesExcellent written communication and candidate outreach skillsBachelor's degree, top 50 school is a strong plusGenuine enthusiasm for sourcing and connecting outstanding people with meaningful opportunitiesNice to HaveFamiliarity with the generative AI, LLM, agent, developer tools or AI infrastructure ecosystemExperience sourcing from research communities, open source projects, GitHub, conferences or academic publicationsExperience supporting an early stage or rapidly scaling startupCompensation and Location$130K to $160K base plus competitive equityIn person, 3 days a week, San FranciscoOpen to visa transfers, including OPT and H1BInterested candidates can reach out directly to learn more.
