Please note: this is primarily a technical role rather than a traditional sales position.To support the continued growth of VMD Livestock Pharma / Biové-brand (part of Orion Animal Health), we are looking for a Technical Specialist – Livestock for the Middle East region.Please note that this opportunity does not involve direct employment with Orion Animal Health. The successful candidate will provide services through an external service provider arrangement or, where applicable, a consultancy agreement.About your roleAs Technical Specialist, you provide technical expertise and act as a trusted partner supporting VMD Livestock Pharma / Biové-brand activities across the Middle East. Your primary focus will be on poultry and ruminants, delivering high-level technical guidance to customers, distributors, and key stakeholders. You combine strong veterinary expertise with regional market knowledge to support growth and innovation in the livestock sector.This is a primarily technical role. You are energized by sharing expertise, building credibility, and fostering long-term, trust-based relationships.In your region, you act as a trusted technical partner for VMD / Biové-brand, supporting customers, distributors, and stakeholders through your expertise and market knowledge. You contribute to the technical credibility and quality of support provided within the region while ensuring alignment with agreed objectives and priorities.You will work closely with some of the region's leading poultry and livestock integrators, providing expert technical guidance and supporting sustainable business growth through your veterinary expertise.Your work covers the wider Middle East region, providing on-site technical support and engaging directly with partners who rely on your guidance. This is a field-based role with frequent travel, with the final location to be agreed upon during the interview process. The scope of the assignment may evolve depending on regional developments and business needs.Please note that relocation costs will not be covered.Your key responsibilitiesAct as the primary technical contact for VMD Livestock Pharma / Biové-brand in the Middle East and provide high-level technical support to customers and partners.Organise and deliver technical workshops, seminars, round tables and training sessions.Represent the company at local fairs, exhibitions and industry events.Build, maintain and further develop long-term relationships with key customers and distributors.Act as an ambassador for the VMD / Biové-brand, strengthening trust, visibility and brand reputation in the region.Through your close interaction with customers and partners, provide valuable technical expertise that support the continued development of the region.Monitor market trends and developments within your region.Travel extensively to support customers and partners, operating independently with a high level of professional responsibility and expertise.For this assignment, you will collaborate closely with the Regional Export Manager to align on regional priorities, exchange market insights, and support agreed business objectives.What this assignment offersA high-impact technical assignment with significant autonomy and responsibility.A strong platform to act as a key regional Specialist within Animal Health.The opportunity to collaborate with experienced international teams.A long-term assignment with visibility and impact in a growing region.Our expectationsYou are a technically driven professional who gains energy from sharing expertise and building durable partnerships.
