Technical Superintendent

Our client, a leading player in the bunkering industry, is seeking a Technical Superintendent to join their team. This role will be responsible for managing a mixed fleet comprising bunker vessels and foreign-going chemical tankers.Responsibilities:Oversee all technical and safety operations of the company’s vessels, ensuring full compliance with internal policies and industry standards.Manage vessel repairs, maintenance, and servicing in coordination with the Technical Manager.Liaise with Class Surveyors during vessel inspections and surveys; prepare and submit detailed reports to the Technical Manager.Provide technical support and guidance to Masters and Chief Engineers, particularly in relation to planned maintenance systems and onboard maintenance activities.Conduct inspections of engine rooms and machinery spaces to ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and operational readiness.Perform damage assessments, prepare cost estimates for repairs, and generate all necessary technical reports.Attend vessels at ports when required to supervise major repairs and oversee restoration work.Draft and recommend proposals to comply with evolving regulatory requirements and ensure adherence to statutory and class regulations.Requirements:Prior sailing experience as a Chief Engineer on tankers and/or bunker vessels.Proven experience in managing ocean-going tankers, including technical operations and compliance oversight.How to Apply:Submit your application by emailing a detailed copy of your updated Resume in MS Word Format to Tiffany Dorjpalam (EA Personnel Reg.
