Technical Superintendent

We’re partnered with a growing tanker fleet operator in Dubai who are looking to appoint a Technical Superintendent.This is a hands-on role with real ownership of a designated group of tanker vessels. You’ll be responsible for their day-to-day technical management, working closely with the Chief Engineers and Masters onboard as well as the wider operations team ashore.Your remit will cover maintenance and repairs, dry-docking, technical budgets, planned maintenance, class and flag requirements and PSC compliance, as well as coordinating with class societies, suppliers and repair yards.We’re looking to speak with experienced tanker professionals who have sailed as Chief Engineer, or at an equivalent senior engineering level, and have since built shore-based experience in technical vessel management.The role is based in Dubai and sits directly within a growing tanker fleet operation covering the UAE and wider GCC.
