Technical Superintendent, Container (Singapore)

We are seeking a qualified and proactive Technical Superintendent to join our client’s technical team. This role is based in Singapore, and we are looking for someone with container vessel experience. Key Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day technical operations of assigned tankers and/or gas carriers.Monitor vessel performance, fuel efficiency, and machinery health.Plan and supervise routine maintenance, dry-dockings, and repairs.Coordinate with onboard crew and ensure compliance with planned maintenance systems (PMS).Liaise with classification societies, flag states, and third-party service providers.Manage budgets for assigned vessels, track expenditures, and control costs.Investigate technical incidents and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.Assist in the development and execution of energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.Requirements:Must have sailed to the rank of Chief Engineer on container vessels CoC Class 1Been ashore as a Technical Superintendent overseeing container vesselsProficient in MS Office and vessel management softwareExcellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skillsWillingness to travel for vessel inspections, audits, and dry-dock supervision.
