Our team is dedicated to delivering safe, reliable, and efficient services to our clients, focusing on quality and customer satisfaction.As our DP2 Technical Superintendent at ZMI, your main responsibility is to supervise and run the designated units' technical characteristics for ZMI operations ensuring they are maintained to maximize fleet availability and utilization.Key responsibilities:Supports Fleet Manager with preparing annual barges' maintenance budget and 5 years maintenance budget forecast.Calculate the required emergency stock for spares, ensuring the records also available on the vessels and are up to datePlan, schedule, and oversee execution of planned maintenance, according to the policies, procedures and with dedicated tools.Plan, schedule, and oversee execution of major shipyard maintenance periods, including class special and intermediate surveys.Run planned maintenance execution effectiveness analysis.Inspect designated barges periodically to ensure that the planned maintenance items have been satisfactorily completed.Participates in vessel mobilizations, being involved in kick off and follow up meetings, initial, subsequent and close out inspections, providing expertise to IOT and the Master during such. Ensure all downtime and defects are recorded, root cause analyses are executed, corrective actions are implemented.Act as the technical subject matter expert, providing support to barge's chief engineer and Fleet Manager.Ensure the adoption and utilization of the AMOS system across capable barges.Support development of technical policies, procedures and required tools with technical team.Escalate issues to Fleet Manager where applicable, such as outstanding maintenance.Support operations superintendent with the supervision and development of barge' crews.Provide technical expertise and support to the vessel crews. This involves troubleshooting technical issues, providing guidance on repairs and maintenance procedures.Functionally reports into technical department.Minimum requirements and Qualifications:Chief Engineer (Unlimited) Certificate of CompetencyDP License is a mustDegree in Nautical studies, Marine Engineering is a mustThree years’ experience in the maritime, or similar industry, in a technical/engineering position or 3 years as Chief Engineer on DP2 Offshore Support VesselsGCC experience is a plusADNOC Approval as Port Engineer is a plus
