Technical Support Engineer

Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Engineer specialized in lifecycle management of Zebra TC series devices in Litmus7 four our client. The right candidate is expected to be experienced in device configuration, troubleshooting, optimization and deployment of Zebra TC53 Series Android handheld mobile computers used in retail stores and warehouses. Skilled in enterprise mobility solutions, Android device administration, wireless networking, Mobile Device Management (MDM), barcode scanning technologies, and hardware diagnostics to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesDevice Deployment & ConfigurationConfigure and provision Zebra TC53 handheld devices for enterprise deployments.Experience and thorough knowledge in DataWedge configurations and Enterprise Browser configurations.Install and configure Android OS, enterprise applications, security policies, and firmware updates.Perform device staging using Zebra StageNow, Zebra Mobility Extensions (MX) and Enterprise Mobility Development Toolkit (EMDK).Configure Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, VPN, and 5G connectivity.Deploy devices through Zero Touch Enrolment and Android Enterprise.Technical SupportExperience in incident and problem management, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and SOP and knowledge documentation.Provide Level 2/Level 3 technical support and preventive maintenance for Zebra TC53 mobile computers and other zebra devices.Experience in Device Diagnostics to resolve hardware/ software issues affecting device functionality.Troubleshoot barcode scanning performance, camera functionality, battery issues, and peripheral connectivity.Investigate Android system logs and application crashes.Support printer connectivity with Zebra mobile printers and enterprise barcode scanners.Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting ExpertiseMonitor device health and system performance.Optimize application startup times and memory utilization.Improve Wi-Fi roaming performance within warehouse environments.Configure RFID scanner and tune scanner parameters for high-volume barcode capture.Reduce battery consumption through device policy optimization.Ensure optimal performance under continuous industrial workloads.Identify and address application deployment failures.Troubleshoot Android Operating System, device boot failures, Wi-Fi & BLE connectivity, VPN connectivity, Printer connectivity,Manage DHCP/ DNS configurations, Touchscreen calibration, firmware upgrades, OS patches.Device ManagementManage enterprise device fleets using MDM platforms including:SOTI MobiControlJamfVMware Workspace ONEZebra DNA CloudPush remote configurations and software updates.Enforce compliance policies.Perform remote diagnostics and device recovery.Generate device health and compliance reports.Soft skillsCustomer supportVendor Coordination.Good verbal and written communication skills.
