Location: Dubai, UAEJob Overview:We are looking for a technically minded and detail-oriented professional to review and audit solar PV and battery storage installation surveys before projects are scheduled for installation.The role focuses on identifying technical errors, missing information, and potential installation challenges to ensure projects are properly prepared, installations run smoothly, and unnecessary delays or repeat visits are avoided.Key ResponsibilitiesReview technical surveys, installation photographs, drawings, roof measurements, and equipment specifications.Check proposed solar panel layouts, inverter and battery locations, equipment compatibility, and cable routing requirements.Identify missing information, technical discrepancies, and potential installation challenges before work begins.Coordinate with surveyors, technical support teams, and installation coordinators to clarify and resolve issues.Conduct technical quality audits, maintain accurate records, and escalate concerns to technical management.Ensure projects are technically ready for installation and help minimize installation failures, delays, and repeat visits.Candidate RequirementsMinimum 2–3 years of relevant technical experience in technical support, engineering coordination, QA/QC, technical auditing, or installation planning.Proven experience reviewing technical drawings, engineering documentation, installation plans, or equipment specifications.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.Good English communication skills and strong computer literacy.Ability to identify technical inconsistencies, work independently, and follow structured auditing procedures.Preferred industry background: Renewable energy, electrical, mechanical, construction, engineering, telecommunications, or related technical fields.Experience working with UK or US businesses is a strong advantage.Good to Know!Previous solar PV experience is an advantage but not mandatory.Candidates from other technical industries are welcome, provided they have strong technical understanding and analytical skills.You don't need to be a qualified solar PV designer or electrician, but you must be comfortable reviewing technical documentation and identifying potential errors.Please note: This is a technical quality control role and is not suitable for candidates with only general administration, data entry, or non-technical customer service experience.Recruitment ProcessCV Review → Initial Interview → Technical Assessment & Final Interview → Offer StageShortlisted candidates will complete a brief practical assessment involving the review of a sample technical survey to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.Interested in This Opportunity?If you believe your technical experience and skills align with this role, we'd love to hear from you!📩 Send your updated CV or reach out to learn more about the opportunity.
