Technical Support Technician - Roackaway, NJ - $50000 - $70000 pa + uncapped overtimeMy client, who is market-leading MSP, is looking for an Infrastructure Support / Network Technician to join a growing technology services organization supporting enterprise clients across the financial services sector. You'll work across IT support, networking, servers, and physical infrastructure, with plenty of hands-on exposure in data-centre and client environments. It's a great opportunity for a technically curious IT professional to broaden their skill set and work with enterprise technologies including Cisco, Arista, and HPE.What you'll do:Provide L1/L2 support across Windows, Microsoft 365, hardware, software, and connectivityInstall, configure, and troubleshoot servers, switches, networking equipment, and physical infrastructureCarry out hands-on data-centre work, including racking, stacking, hardware replacements, and cablingTroubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity and network infrastructure issuesSupport infrastructure deployments, upgrades, and maintenanceWork alongside senior engineers on larger infrastructure projects and client environmentsMaintain accurate technical documentation and follow established processesWhat you'll bring:Experience in IT support, infrastructure, networking, or a related technical environmentA solid understanding of networking fundamentals and LAN/WAN conceptsExposure to Windows, Microsoft 365, servers, switches, or enterprise hardwareExperience with Cisco, Arista, HPE, or similar technologies is a plusComfort working hands-on with physical equipment, cabling, and data-centre infrastructureA proactive, adaptable approach and genuine interest in learning new technologiesAbility to stay calm under pressure, troubleshoot logically, and work well as part of a technical team
