We specialize in Technical and Cleared Recruiting for the Department of Defense (DoD), the Intelligence Community (IC), and other advanced defense agencies.At HRUCKUS, we support fellow Veteran-Owned businesses by helping them recruit for positions across organizations such as the VA, SBA, HHS, DARPA, and other leading-edge R&D-focused defense agencies.We seek to fill a Technical Trainer role in Washington, DC.The ideal candidate is a Washington, DC resident with 6 years of experience developing and delivering technical system training, experience with curriculum development, and 2 years of transit scheduling system knowledge.If you’re interested, I'll gladly provide more details about the role and further discuss your qualifications.Thanks,Stephen M HrutkaPrincipal Consultantwww.hruckus.comExecutive Summary: HRUCKUS is looking for an experienced Technical Trainer to support the HASTUS Phase 2 Rail and MVP Bus Operations and Bidding project by managing the migration from the legacy system Trapeze to HASTUS.Position Description: The Technical Trainer will design, develop, and deliver IT Training through a variety of channels including classroom, video, and computer-based training (CBT) to coordinate the strategic training needs for the ten Rail Divisions and nine Bus Divisions as part of the Trapeze to HASTUS migration and deployment waves.Position Responsibilities:Learn HASTUS to provide ongoing support to Digital Modernization (DM) and the Bus and Rail Scheduling Operations teams.Maintain a strong understanding of the technical subject matter and relevant technologies.Attend Train-the-Trainer course for Phase 2 Rail and MVP Bus Daily OPS and Bidding.Prepare training materials such as presentations, manuals, videos, and online resources such as CBTs.Assess the effectiveness of the HASTUS training programs through evaluations, feedback, and performance metrics, and make necessary adjustments.Work with subject matter experts, DM teams, and HR and Payroll to ensure alignment with organizational goals and identify training needs.Identify and resolve training-related issues.Utilize excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.Explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.Experience developing and designing technical training content.
