Technical Trainer

Department: Technical Operations & Franchise TrainingAs Zero Dry Time expands across Saudi Arabia, we are seeking an experienced, hands-on Technical Trainer to lead the technical onboarding, field coaching, and quality assurance of our cleaning technicians and franchise operators across the Kingdom.Position SummaryThe Technical Trainer will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating comprehensive technical training programs across all five core Zero Dry Time service domains: Dry Carpet Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning, Leather Restoration & Recoloring, Hard Floor Deep Cleaning, and Dust-Free Wooden Floor Restoration.

This role bridges theoretical knowledge and practical execution, ensuring all technicians and field teams master ZeroDryTime’s specialized machinery, chemical ratios, fabric/surface diagnostics, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) while upholding Saudi health, safety, and client-service standards. Key Responsibilities1. Technical Instruction & Classroom TrainingConduct structured onboarding programs combining classroom learning, hands-on simulation, and e-learning modules for new technicians and franchise staff.Train staff in the setup, safe operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of ZeroDryTime’s proprietary cleaning machinery and PAT-tested equipment. Instruct technicians on fabric and surface identification (e.g., natural vs. synthetic carpets, aniline vs. pigmented leather, hardwood types, porcelain vs. terrazzo floor tiles) to ensure correct chemical selection and application.Deliver specialized modules on ZeroDryTime’s proprietary product lines, including dry organic compounds, low-moisture dry foam, eco-friendly sanitizers, and Ultra Guard protection treatments. 2. Specialist Surface TrainingLeather Repair & Restoration: Teach advanced techniques in leather cleaning, stain extraction, color-matching, recoloring, scratch/rip repair, and protective top coating. Wood Floor Refurbishment: Train teams on low-cost, dust-free floor cleaning and sealing processes as an alternative to destructive sanding. Hard Floor & Grout Cleaning: Instruct on anti-slip tile restoration, deep grout cleaning, and sealing methods for ceramics, marble, granite, vinyl, and luxury tile floors. 3. Field Coaching & Quality AssurancePerform job shadowing, ride-along, and on-site field evaluations to ensure compliance with ZeroDryTime service protocols. Conduct random site audits across commercial and residential jobs to verify service quality, site safety, and customer satisfaction.Troubleshoot complex or high-risk field scenarios (e.g., severe chemical burns on leather, water-sensitive carpets, unique stain profiles).4. Curriculum & Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Localize ZeroDryTime global training manuals and safety guidelines to align with Saudi Arabia’s environmental conditions (dust, ambient heat, humidity control) and regulatory standards.Update training materials, visual job aids, and video tutorials for the internal learning portal. Maintain training completion records, certification logs, and skill matrices for all technical personnel.5. Health, Safety & Equipment ComplianceEnforce chemical safety, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance, and Hazardous Material Handling protocols.Oversee routine equipment maintenance schedules and ensure zero cross-contamination protocols are maintained across client visits.Requirements & QualificationsRequired Experience5+ Years of hands-on experience in specialized floor care, carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, or surface restoration (wood, leather, or stone).2+ Years of experience in a technical training, field supervision, or quality control role within commercial or residential cleaning services.Proven hands-on mastery of surface restoration techniques, dry/low-moisture cleaning systems, and leather repair chemistry. Education & Technical SkillsHigh School Diploma or Vocational Training Certificate; a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Technical Education, or Facilities Management is an asset.Certified knowledge of cleaning chemistry (pH balance, stain classification, fabric reaction testing).Valid Driver’s License (KSA driving license preferred or transferable).Key CompetenciesBilingual Proficiency: Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written) to effectively train diverse teams in Saudi Arabia.Instructional Ability: Demonstrated capacity to break down technical processes into clear, step-by-step instructions for non-technical audiences.Problem-Solving: Sharp analytical skills for diagnosing surface damage, stain origin, and product misapplication.Cultural Competency: Strong interpersonal skills tailored to the Saudi Arabian business environment and multicultural workforce.Preferred QualificationsIICRC Certification (Carpet Cleaning, Upholstery & Fabric Cleaning, Leather Cleaning, or Hard Surface Cleaning).Prior experience working with international franchise systems or dry carpet cleaning machinery.Experience with e-learning management systems (LMS) and multimedia content creation for field guides.Working Conditions & Physical DemandsField & Center Mix: Split between training centers, local workshops, and live customer sites (residential homes, corporate offices, hotels, restaurants).Travel: In-kingdom travel across key regional hubs (Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam/Eastern Province) as operational demands dictates.Physical Capability: Ability to lift and operate floor maintenance equipment, demonstrate restoration techniques, and stand for extended periods during practical training modules.Application ProcessInterested candidates are invited to submit an updated CV along with certificates demonstrating relevant technical training or surface restoration experience to ahmed.reda@zerodrytime.sa.referencing "Technical Trainer – Saudi Arabia" in the subject line.
