Team members gain experience across multiple technology domains and education services, with opportunities to contribute to both product development and training initiatives.Role Description The Technical Trainer DSA role is a full-time hybrid position based in Salem, with flexibility for partial work from home. The Technical Trainer will design and deliver training programs focused on Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), preparing learners for technical interviews, academic success, and industry roles. Day-to-day tasks include creating curriculum and learning materials, conducting classroom and online sessions, explaining complex concepts in an accessible way, and providing hands-on coding exercises and assessments. The role involves monitoring learner progress, offering feedback and mentoring, and coordinating with internal teams to align training content with current industry standards and GeekBase’s technology stack. The Technical Trainer will also support campus training initiatives and online education programs, ensuring consistent quality and learner outcomes.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Training and experience working as Technical Trainers in academic or industry settings.Candidates should possess skills in Training & Development and Training, including curriculum design, lesson planning, and learner assessment.Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain DSA concepts clearly to diverse learner groups.Solid knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms, coding in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python), and familiarity with standard interview problem patterns.Experience delivering both in-person and online training sessions, with comfort using learning management systems and virtual classroom tools.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Strong mentoring attitude, patience, and the ability to support learners with different skill levels in a non-discriminatory and inclusive manner.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in Salem, manage schedules independently, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
