Technical Writer

Role Description This part-time remote Technical Writer role at Reclutamiento Secrets Akumal focuses on producing clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for technical products and processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with subject matter experts to gather information, drafting and updating manuals, guides, and online help content, and structuring complex technical concepts into accessible language for diverse audiences. The Technical Writer will maintain documentation standards, ensure consistency across all materials, and manage version control of documents throughout the product lifecycle. The role also involves reviewing existing documentation for clarity and completeness, incorporating feedback from stakeholders, and aligning content with branding and accessibility guidelines.Qualifications Ability to create high-quality technical content, including Technical Writing and Documentation for products, services, and internal processes.Experience in Technical Communication, effectively translating complex information into clear, concise, and structured materials for technical and non-technical audiences.Skill in developing and maintaining Technical Documentation such as user guides, release notes, and knowledge base articles.Proficiency in writing and organizing Manuals, quick-start guides, and step-by-step instructions that support user adoption and reduce support requests.Strong attention to detail, excellent written communication skills in English, and ability to adhere to style guides and documentation standards.Comfort working remotely, managing time effectively, and collaborating with distributed teams using digital tools.Familiarity with documentation tools (e.g., Markdown, HTML, CMS or wiki platforms) and basic understanding of software or technical systems.Relevant education or equivalent experience in Technical Writing, Communications, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
