Technical Writer

Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate & Elicit Requirements: Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and software engineering teams globally to gather, analyze, and clarify technical requirements.Content Structuring & Simplification: Synthesize complex technical concepts and workflows into clear, logical, and user-friendly instructions tailored for an international user base.Topic-Based Authoring: Apply topic-based authoring techniques and structured content architecture principles to produce accessible, high-standard product manuals and guides.Delivery Management: Effectively manage project timelines, scope, and resources to consistently meet release deadlines without compromising quality.Requirements & QualificationsDiploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, English, Technical Communications, or related fields.At least 3 years of technical writing experience for software/tech products.Proven experience writing and publishing customer-facing documentation.Hands-on experience working directly with software engineering teams and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).Experience with at least one XML authoring tool (e.g., FrameMaker, Oxygen XML, XMetaL) and a CMS.Familiarity with JIRA and MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio).Ability to quickly learn and explain complex technical concepts simply.Proactive, well-organized, and able to meet deadlines under pressure.Willingness to work in a secure Offshore Development Center (ODC) room environment and adhere to strict security protocols.Good English writing, editing, and communication skills.
