In this role, the Technician performs diagnostics, repairs, and testing on a variety of consumer electronics, including smartphones, tablets, computers, and other devices. Daily responsibilities include assessing device issues, replacing components, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and documenting repair activities accurately. The Technician interacts directly with customers, explaining repair options, providing status updates, and ensuring a positive in-store experience. This position also involves maintaining a clean and organized workspace, following safety and quality standards, and collaborating with team members to meet store performance goals.Qualifications Technical repair skills for smartphones, tablets, computers, and other consumer electronics, including component replacement and hardware/software troubleshooting.Customer service and communication skills to clearly explain repair findings, manage expectations, and provide a friendly, professional in-store experience.Attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate diagnostics, repair documentation, inventory handling, and adherence to quality and safety procedures.Problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies, tools, and repair methods in a fast-paced, evolving tech environment.Ability to stand for extended periods, perform manual tasks with small tools and components, and follow established repair and cleanliness standards.Prior experience in electronics repair, retail, or technical support is preferred but not required; relevant training or certifications in electronics or IT are a plus.Reliable work habits, punctuality, and the ability to collaborate effectively with store teammates and leadership.
