Team members work in a collaborative, child-centered environment alongside highly skilled healthcare professionals.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technician role based in Bengaluru South. The Technician will support daily clinical operations by preparing and maintaining medical equipment, assisting healthcare professionals during procedures, and ensuring that diagnostic and treatment devices are functioning safely and accurately. Responsibilities include performing routine checks and basic troubleshooting of equipment, maintaining records of maintenance and calibration, and following hospital protocols for infection control and safety. The role also involves coordinating with clinical and administrative staff, managing supplies related to assigned equipment or units, and responding promptly to equipment-related requests to support efficient patient care.Qualifications Technical proficiency with medical or diagnostic equipment, including basic troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and calibration.Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety, infection control, and quality standards in a hospital environment.Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary clinical and administrative teams.Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple operational requests in a fast-paced setting.Relevant technical diploma or degree (e.g., in biomedical engineering, medical electronics, or related field) from a recognized institution.Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting is highly desirable, particularly in pediatrics, maternity, or critical care units.Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays as required by hospital operations.Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning in healthcare technology and best practices.
