As the authorized distributor for AIRMAN (Japan) and providers of CSH generators powered by Volvo Penta & Ashok Leyland engines, we deliver reliable, end-to-end power solutions across Sri Lanka.We are looking for a skilled and reliable Technician – Diesel Mechanic to join our Technical Services team and support our growing base of generator installations island-wide.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out scheduled preventive maintenance for diesel generatorsDiagnose and rectify engine, electrical and control-system faultsAttend to breakdown calls and ensure timely resolutionTravel to customer locations for service, maintenance and repair workCoordinate with the Technical Manager on major repairs and technical escalationsMaintain accurate service records and job reportsAssist in generator installation, commissioning and testing when requiredSupport spare-parts identification and inventory checks for service-related itemsCommunicate effectively with customers on service requirements and provide basic operational guidanceCandidate ProfileNVQ Level (or equivalent) qualification in Mechanical / Automotive / Diesel Technology preferredMinimum 2–4 years' experience in diesel generator maintenance and repairsSound knowledge of diesel engines and generator systems — mechanical, electrical and control systemsAbility to interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams and use diagnostic tools/equipmentStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability, including under time pressureProfessional, courteous and service-oriented approach with customersReliable and accountable, with consistent adherence to safety proceduresValid motorcycle and light vehicle driving license (essential, for field visits)If you are confident that you have the right skills, knowledge, attitude and passion to grow with us, please forward your resume to randhi.fernando@laugfs.lk within 07 days of this notice, stating two non-related referees.
