The team responds promptly to pest emergencies and focuses on efficient, professional removal of infestations, while advising clients on long-term pest-proofing measures.Role Description The Technician (Garbage Chute Maintenance & Service) is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The technician will inspect, clean, and maintain garbage chute systems, ensuring they operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with hygiene and health regulations. Daily tasks include performing routine checks, identifying blockages or mechanical issues, carrying out repairs or adjustments, and coordinating with pest control teams to prevent infestations around chute and waste areas. The role also requires accurate documentation of work performed, reporting equipment conditions, following company safety protocols, and communicating with building management and clients regarding maintenance schedules and service recommendations. The technician will use appropriate tools, protective equipment, and cleaning agents, and may support other facility maintenance tasks related to waste management and pest prevention.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance for garbage chute systems and related building infrastructure.Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose mechanical faults, blockages, and performance issues in chute and waste-handling equipment.Candidates should possess capabilities in Preventive Maintenance to plan and perform regular inspections, cleaning, and servicing that minimize breakdowns.Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills to carry out adjustments, part replacements, and minor mechanical repairs safely and accurately.Relevant experience in building services, waste management, or facility maintenance, preferably within residential or commercial properties.Basic understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards related to waste disposal and pest prevention.Ability to work on-site in Dubai, follow instructions, manage time effectively, and maintain clear service records.High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or mechanical trades is an advantage.
