The NOC Technician will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise.Essential Functions Monitor network and systems to ensure they are running smoothly Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise Work closely with other NOC technicians to ensure that all systems are running efficiently Document and troubleshoot all network and system issues, and resolutions Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in network and system administrationQualificationsEducation and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in fiber optics are a plus. A minimum of six (6) months to two (2) years of experience or training in Network Operations and troubleshooting. Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds Strong troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Valid driver's licensePhysical, Field, Or Environmental RequirementsThe physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.
