Job Code : 6190Position Title : Technician - Rolling RM1,2,3,5 Hydraulic DayExperience : 5 yrsLocation : Abu DhabiLanguage : EnglishEducation : Diploma in Mechanical Fitter tradeResponsibilitiesTo carry out the control panel operations of material handling systems, Reactor charge and discharge systems, Hot DRI Transport to SMP, Cold DRI handling, de-dustings systems, cement coating. Maintain the process parameters as per daily operating instructions and as per SOPs. Monitor and take timely action to avoid delays and unsafe events.Process MaintenanceEssential Duties and Responsibilities (Key Accountabilities)To operate the assigned areas of the plant safely and maintain the process parameters as per the daily operating instructions to achieve the Departments targetsCoordinationTo coordinate with field staff and setting the field position of equipment and valves as required for the processTo communicate with shift supervisor / Senior Panel Operator on any deviations and guidanceCoordinate with MH Department for raw material feeding and Product discharge system.Safety StandardsFamiliarize with shutdown and start-up procedures and emergency handling procedures for safe operation of the plantPlant RecordsRecord process parameters in the log sheetsImplement Production OptimizationTo execute all scheduled (day-to-day, preventive) maintenance, corrective maintenance and major repairs of the equipment in order to optimize production & minimize plant down time for maintenance related development worksFacilitate Corrective ActionResponsible for trouble shooting during breakdowns of mechanical equipment s and provide the assistance to find out the root cause for corrective action maintenance related development worksPrevent System AbnormalitiesResponsible for attending hydraulics problems during breakdowns in the Plant. To communicate to superiors of any abnormalities found in the Plant to plan & rectify the same.Meet Engineering/ Safety PrinciplesInspection of equipment s to meet engineering principles and safety regulations in hydraulics maintenance related development works.Report the relevant hazards and near miss in the area.Assistance & SupportTo assist and help the hydraulic supervisor in all technical areas to ensure smooth maintenance of the Fluids & Hydraulics for uninterrupted production and co-ordination with other departments.Following StandardsFollow maintenance standards for all the hydraulics equipment in the Plant. Adherence to ES LSR and follow the proper work instructions and the relevant controls measures. Support the supervisor for 5S implementation.
