Position Type: This is a full-time, hourly position. The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with overtime opportunities based on business and operational needs. Work Location:The nature of this position requires work on site at a CGS location, Monday- Friday 7am -4 pm.

Job Description

The Technician Supervisor reports to the Maintenance Manager and has the authority and responsibility for supervising people that are unfamiliar with the maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alteration tasks assigned. The Supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities within the repair station, which includes allocating work and ensuring adequate personnel, tools, documentation, and equipment are available when work is performed.Duties/tasks include, but not limited to:· Familiar with the methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment and tools used to perform the assigned maintenance, preventive maintenance and alteration tasks · Certificated under part 65 · Ensure assigned technicians have the appropriate equipment, tools, and maintenance data for· performing assigned tasks.· Delivering equipment in need of calibration to the stockroom · Ensure that the proper data is being used at any time during performance of work· Train, assist and supervise technicians in proper work procedures and practices.· Ensure personnel have appropriate experience or knowledge or are properly trained prior toassigning maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alteration tasks.· Verify that the work is performed in accordance with the applicable technical data.· Ensure maintenance records are appropriately completed.· Perform other duties that may be assignedNote: The Supervisor may delegate duties and responsibilities to any qualified personnel. Delegation of duties does not relieve the position of its responsibilities. When we take care of both, our business will grow, and we will have a team of professionals who can achieve their professional and personal goals.We know we did a great job when we consistently achieve production objectives while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, compliance, and employee accountability.Skills Required:· Valid A&P (Airframe & Powerplant)/ A (Airframe) License is required for this position· Repairman with 18 months of experience (14 CFR part 65) may be acceptable on a case-by-case basis based on their relevant aviation experience, technical qualifications, demonstrated skills, and the needs of the organization.· Nice to have, but not required: Proficiency in Quantum Control · Familiar with the methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment and tools used to perform the assigned maintenance, preventive maintenance and alteration tasks (see, 14 CFR m§ 145.153(a))· Demonstrated knowledge with all apps within the Microsoft 365 suite· Self-motivation, strong sense of responsibly, multi-tasking, leadership skills· Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions closely, good organization skills· Ability to prioritize and organize workflowRegulatory Information:This position is assigned supervisory duties (directing maintenance, preventive maintenance and alterations and/or directly assisting persons unfamiliar with work assignments), therefore this person must be qualified per 14 CFR § 145.153FAA – 14CFR Part 120:Safety Sensitive Employee (Drug Program): YesFAA Roster: YesDOT - 49CFR 172.704:Hazmat Employee: Yes Salary: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
