Training Specialist - Technology & AI Schedule: Hybrid - ideally 5 days onsite initially, with flexibility to move to a minimum of 3 days onsite once established.Our client is a well-established, fast-paced professional organization seeking a Technology & AI Training Specialist to join its Learning & Development team. This is a highly visible role for someone who enjoys working with people, leading training, and helping employees become more confident with technology.The ideal candidate is a polished, high-energy trainer/facilitator who understands adult learning, is comfortable presenting to groups, has solid technology experience, and has a genuine interest in AI.Position SummaryThe Technology & AI Training Specialist will deliver technology and AI training through in-person classroom sessions, virtual training, one-on-one instruction, and new-hire onboarding. This person will partner with learning professionals, subject matter experts, and internal stakeholders to develop and deliver effective training and supporting materials.This is primarily a training and facilitation role, not an IT Support or purely Instructional Design position.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver in-person and virtual technology and AI training to employees at various levelsFacilitate new-hire onboarding and other recurring learning programsServe as a visible and approachable technology resource within the organizationBuild relationships with internal stakeholders to understand training needs and business objectivesPartner with instructional designers and subject matter experts to develop and improve training contentDevelop job aids, quick-reference guides and other learning resourcesAssist with technology/software rollouts, pilot training, testing and user feedbackSupport training projects and coordinate with various internal teamsTrack attendance, maintain learning records and provide training metricsStay current with AI, technology and learning trends and identify opportunities to incorporate new tools into trainingProvide one-on-one coaching and support as neededQualificationsRequired5+ years of experience in training, learning & development, technology training or a related fieldProven experience facilitating live classroom training and presenting to groupsStrong understanding of adult learning principles and the ability to explain technology clearly to different audiencesStrong technical aptitude with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsProfessional, polished and engaging presentation style with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and internal stakeholdersPreferredWorking knowledge of instructional design principlesExperience with AI tools or AI-integrated applications is a plus, but AI expertise is not requiredProfessional services experience is preferred — law, accounting, tax, finance or similar environmentsBachelor's degree in Education, Technology, Learning & Development or a related field preferred; equivalent experience consideredEducationBachelor's degree in Education, Technology, Learning & Development, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
