Director – Technology Transformation (Strategic Advisory)From £180,000 + BonusLondon (Hybrid)A global advisory firm is looking to hire a Director to lead complex, large-scale technology transformation and modernisation programmes. This role requires a blend of technical depth, commercial awareness, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders, with experience across sectors such as Retail, Consumer, TMT, or Financial Services (Retail/FS preferred).You must have a track record of leading technology advisory engagements within a consulting environment, ideally within a blue-chip consultancy.You’ll help organisations maximise value from technology investments, spanning strategy, execution, and performance improvement.What you’ll do as a Technology Transformation Director:Lead end-to-end transformation programmes from strategy through to deliveryAdvise clients on technology strategy, operating models, strategic architecture and cost optimisationLead complex initiatives including IT due diligence, M&A, carve-outs, integration and programme recoverySupport technology modernisation, including platform rationalisation, consolidation and re-platformingBuild trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and drive business developmentLead and develop consulting teams while contributing to internal capability and best practiceYour BackgroundProven track record delivering technology transformation and advisory engagements in consultingExperience across areas such as IT strategy, enterprise/strategic architecture, operating models, cost optimisation or programme deliveryExperience with major, high-complexity programmes with significant strategic or commercial impactStrong stakeholder management, including C-suite engagementSector experience in Retail or Financial Services is advantageousCommercially minded, analytical and comfortable operating in complex or time-critical environmentsThe PackageFrom £180,000Company BonusPensionMedicalTo hear more, get in touch.
