قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجPosition Summary:The Telecommunications Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining telecommunications, ELV, fire & security, and data center communication systems. The role includes ensuring system performance, reliability, compliance with applicable standards, and supporting installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and ongoing technical improvements. With respect to nationalization program in Saudi Arabia to boost local talents, Saudi nationals are encouraged to apply to this role.Main Responsibilities:• Design, engineer, and oversee the installation of telecommunications, structured cabling, fiber optic, fire alarm, fire suppression, access control, CCTV, and communication systems for new projects, upgrades, and system expansions.• Develop and maintain detailed telecommunications drawings, network diagrams, cable schedules, system schematics, technical specifications, and documentation to support installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance activities.• Collaborate with project management, operations, commissioning, IT, fire & security, and facility management teams to ensure the seamless integration of telecommunications, ELV, fire protection, security, and data center systems.• Monitor system performance, identify technical issues, and troubleshoot telecommunications, network, fiber optic, fire & security, and communication system faults to ensure operational continuity and reliability.• Ensure all telecommunications, ELV, fire & security, and data center communication systems comply with applicable safety codes, engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.• Stay up to date with advancements in telecommunications, structured cabling, fiber optics, networking, data center technologies, fire & security systems, and industry best practices to support continuous improvement.• Comply with all relevant safety, quality, health, and environmental procedures to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in telecommunications engineering, electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a related engineering discipline.• Minimum 2 years of experience in telecommunications engineering, preferably involving fire & security systems, ELV, structured cabling, fiber optics, networking, or data center infrastructure.• Registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).• Good understanding of telecommunications systems, structured cabling, fiber optic networks, fire alarm, fire suppression, access control, CCTV, and communication system principles.• Familiarity with LAN/WAN networks, network equipment, data center infrastructure, fiber optic systems, ELV systems, and industrial communication networks.
