Temp Bookkeeper

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE :The Temporary Bookkeeper will support the finance function within an automotive manufacturing environment, with responsibility for creditors and general finance related duties.The role requires strong hands-on SYSPRO experience and a reasonable accounting knowledge.Key ResponsibilitiesCashbook & BankPrepare payment runs and load payments on bank for approval.Daily Processing: Download and capture daily bank statements into the SYSPRO Cashbook module.Reconciliations: Perform full bank reconciliations for all company accounts, ensuring all "open items" are cleared promptly.Accounts Payable (Creditors)Capture supplier invoices and match against Purchase Orders and Goods Received Notes (GRN).Reconciliations: Prepare monthly creditor reconciliations to ensure all supplier statements align with the age analysis.Payment Runs: Prepare weekly/monthly electronic fund transfer (EFT) batches for approval for group companies.Technical Requirements & QualificationsEducation: Suitable Qualification in accountingSYSPRO Expertise: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience. You must be comfortable with the Cashbook, Creditors, Debtor and Inventory modules.Accounting: Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.Industry Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is non negotiable.
