The company is ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2022 certified and is recognised under Startup India.About the roleThe Tender Executive is responsible for the end-to-end execution of tender submissions across Central Government, State Government and PSU e-procurement platforms. Flybi operates in a high-volume bidding environment in which several tenders frequently close on the same day, each governed by its own portal, eligibility matrix, Earnest Money Deposit requirement and corrigenda stream. The role exists to ensure that every tender the company elects to pursue is submitted complete, compliant and ahead of the stated deadline.This is an execution role within the Tendering & Contracts function. It is not a tender-identification or subscription-monitoring position.Key responsibilities Review each Notice Inviting Tender and prepare a complete eligibility matrix covering turnover, similar-work experience, manpower, equipment and certification requirements Prepare a documented go / no-go recommendation for the reporting manager before document preparation commences Compile, format and validate technical and financial bid packs in accordance with the format prescribed by each issuing authority and portal Arrange Earnest Money Deposit instruments, including demand drafts, bank guarantees, online transfers and Bid Security Declarations, and claim MSME / Udyam and Startup India exemptions where applicable Monitor corrigenda and addenda daily for every live tender and incorporate all amendments prior to submission Execute submissions on GeM, CPPP (etenders.gov.in), IREPS and State e-procurement portals using a valid Digital Signature Certificate, in advance of the closing time Maintain the tender register, recording submissions, outcomes, Earnest Money Deposits released and outstanding, and the documented reason for every unsuccessful bid Coordinate with the technical, finance and operations teams to obtain supporting documentation within agreed internal timelines Maintain portal enrolments, vendor registrations and certification records so that eligibility is never lost on a procedural lapse Support post-award formalities, including performance security, agreement execution and vendor onboardingReportingThe position reports into the Tendering & Contracts function and works directly with the Founder & CEO on bid strategy and go / no-go decisions.Location and working hoursThis is an office-based position at our Kengeri, Bengaluru office. Working days are Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Saturday is a full working day. The role is not available on a remote or hybrid basis.Compensation₹4,00,000 to ₹5,00,000 per annum (CTC), commensurate with demonstrated experience.RequirementsEssential qualifications and experience Graduate in any discipline. A background in engineering, commerce or business administration is preferred. Two to four years of experience managing live tender submissions from Notice Inviting Tender through to submission. Experience confined to tender identification or opportunity monitoring will not be considered equivalent. Demonstrated personal submission experience on at least two of the following platforms: GeM, CPPP (etenders.gov.in), IREPS, or a State e-procurement portal Working knowledge of Earnest Money Deposit instruments and Bid Security Declarations, and of the conditions under which MSME / Udyam exemptions may be claimed Ability to interpret a Notice Inviting Tender independently and construct an eligibility matrix without supervision Established practice of tracking corrigenda and addenda through to the point of submission Strong written English, sufficient to prepare technical bid documentation for submission to government authorities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, and familiarity with Digital Signature Certificate usage and portal enrolment Currently based in Bengaluru, or willing to relocateDesirable Prior experience in survey, geospatial, LiDAR, GIS or drone services Exposure to the NAKSHA or DILRMP programmes, or to Survey of India work Experience with bank guarantees and performance security instruments Experience handling MSME / Udyam and Startup India exemption documentation Familiarity with two-cover bid processes and reverse auctionsCompetencies Deadline discipline. Tender deadlines are absolute. We look for a consistent record of submitting ahead of time rather than at the closing hour. Procedural accuracy. Bids are more often disqualified on format, attestation and annexure errors than on price. Close adherence to the prescribed format is essential. Parallel workload management. The ability to run several concurrent submissions without loss of accuracy. Documentation discipline. Structured record-keeping, so that the status of any live tender can be established at any time by a colleague other than the post-holder. Professional communication. Clear and courteous correspondence with internal stakeholders and issuing authorities.Selection processApplication reviewTelephonic screening of approximately twenty minutes, covering portal experience, Earnest Money Deposit handling and a recent submission managed by the candidateWritten practical assessment of forty-five minutes using a live Notice Inviting Tender. Candidates will be asked to prepare an eligibility matrix, provide a reasoned go / no-go recommendation, and identify the principal risks of disqualification.Interview with the Founder & CEOReference check and offer of employmentApplicants are requested to state, in their covering note, the e-procurement portals on which they have personally submitted bids, and to describe briefly one tender they managed from Notice Inviting Tender through to submission.Flybi Technologies Private Limited is an equal opportunity employer.
