Tendering and Proposal Electrical Engineer

In addition, the company handles modification and refurbishment work and provides panel integration and assembly solutions, supporting a wide range of industrial and commercial projects.Role Description The Tendering Electrical Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Eastern Region. This position is responsible for reviewing tender documents, technical specifications, and drawings, and preparing accurate technical and commercial proposals for electrical, instrumentation, and automation projects. The role includes estimating costs, preparing bills of quantities, and coordinating with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure competitive, compliant bids. The Tendering Electrical Engineer will communicate with clients and suppliers to clarify requirements, gather technical data, and ensure alignment with project standards and regulations. Daily tasks also involve risk assessment, value engineering, maintaining tender documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement of bidding processes.QualificationsStrong foundational knowledge in Electricity and Electrical Engineering, with the ability to interpret technical drawings, standards, and specifications.Proficiency in Electrical Design and Power Systems, including load calculations, system configuration, and equipment selection for industrial and commercial projects.Experience in Power Distribution, covering LV/MV systems, switchgear, panels, and distribution network design and analysis.Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.Previous experience in tendering, estimating, or proposal engineering within E&I or similar industries.Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.Proficiency in standard office software and basic engineering tools; experience with tendering or ERP systems is an advantage.Ability to work on-site in the Eastern Region and manage multiple tenders under time constraints.Required Experience5 Years of experience or more.Experience in a similar role in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical and Utilities process applications, preferred experience in Saudi Arabia ( Eastern province)Commercially aware
