The company works with enterprises in finance, telecom, healthcare, manufacturing, and government sectors, delivering measurable improvements in risk reduction, compliance readiness, and operational efficiency.Role Description The Terraform and Platform Automation Engineer is responsible for building the Infrastructure as Code capability for the client DevOps and DevSecOps workstream, including reusable modules, remote state, controlled plan/apply workflows, and automation integration with GitLab and Vault. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement Terraform repository structure, module standards, and environment parameterization  Build reusable modules for the in-scope DevOps and DevSecOps platform components  Configure secure remote state, locking, encryption, and access controls  Integrate Terraform workflows into GitLab CI/CD with validate, plan, approval, and apply stages  Integrate Terraform with Vault for provider credentials, secret retrieval, and secure automation  Support infrastructure change governance, evidence retention, and DR-aware IaC patterns  Produce Terraform documentation, operating procedures, and contribution standards Qualifications5+ years of overall experience in infrastructure automation, cloud engineering, or platform engineering  3+ years of strong hands-on Terraform experience in production environments  Strong experience with reusable Terraform modules, state management, variables, and environment segregation  Experience with Git-based infrastructure workflows, approval gates, and controlled change implementation  Experience integrating Terraform with CI/CD platforms and secrets management tools  Strong Linux, scripting, and automation troubleshooting skills  Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose, analyze, and resolve infrastructure and automation issues efficiently.Required CertificationsHashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate  HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Authoring and Operations Professional  GitLab Certified CI/CD Associate preferred for GitLab-integrated Terraform workflows
