You’ll spend your time in the field meeting customers, visiting active and upcoming job sites, developing new business opportunities, and serving as a trusted resource to contractors, engineers, distributors, and project owners.We’re looking for a highly motivated, self-directed sales professional who combines commercial drive with strong problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of customers and stakeholders.Develop a deep understanding of the full product portfolio and clearly communicate how our solutions help customers improve project efficiency, reduce installation time, and stay on schedule and within budget.Become a trusted technical resource on grooved mechanical pipe joining systems, as well as competitive methods such as welding and flanging, to effectively address customer questions and overcome objections.Develop a strong understanding of construction cycles and proactively identify major construction, expansion, renovation, and retrofit opportunities within the territory.Monitor market conditions, customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and protect market share.Build a strong professional presence within the territory by participating in relevant trade organizations, industry associations, and networking events.Partner with the Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan, including opportunity mapping, sales targets, product promotion strategies, and account development plans.Manage the complete project sales cycle—from initial opportunity identification and design through specifications, drawings, bidding, job-site support, commissioning, and post-sale follow-up.Develop complete and accurate quotation requirements, including application details, specifications, pricing, project timing, and customer requirements, while coordinating with inside sales, engineering, and other support teams.Build and maintain long-term relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers, distributors, building owners, developers, and other key decision-makers.Spend meaningful time with customers and industry partners, including occasional evening and weekend activities such as customer dinners, sporting events, trade events, and networking functions.Develop and maintain a balanced, high-performing distribution network in partnership with key distributors.Coordinate with other sales representatives, regional specialists, and internal teams to provide a seamless customer experience and maximize territory opportunities.Identify customer challenges and recommend solutions that demonstrate the overall value and business impact of our products.Conduct job-site product demonstrations, installation training, and technical presentations.Deliver lunch-and-learn and educational presentations to engineers, contractors, and other industry professionals on innovative products, applications, and installation methods.Influence purchasing and specification decisions by building credibility, demonstrating technical knowledge, and clearly communicating product value.Maintain accurate opportunity, customer, and project information within applicable CRM and sales-management systems.RequiredBachelor’s degree preferred.Proven sales experience with value-added products, services, or technical solutions preferred.Experience in commercial construction, mechanical systems, PVF (pipes, valves, and fittings), industrial products, or related markets is highly valued.Demonstrated ability to develop new business while growing and retaining existing accounts.Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn and communicate product applications.Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory, including overnight travel as business needs require.Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions, including active construction environments.Ability to safely handle and transport equipment weighing 50+ pounds as required.Relationship Builder: You have a proven track record of
