Midwest Territory ManagerLocation: Midwest Territory (Missouri, Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, & Michigan)This is a direct hire, fully remote position with 50%+ travel required (2 weeks on the road, 2 weeks at home each month). They're expanding their North American presence and offer a fast-paced, collaborative culture that rewards initiative and strong customer relationships.About The RoleWe are seeking a Midwest Territory Manager with 3+ years of experience in construction equipment, attachments, heavy equipment sales, or a related industry. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, dealer development, and customer engagement across the assigned territory, with a strong focus on securing new dealers while maintaining existing relationships.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targetsIdentify and pursue new business opportunities with dealers, contractors, municipalities, and rental companiesPromote the full product portfolio through demonstrations, presentations, and customer visitsMaintain a strong sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting and reportingBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective dealersSupport dealer sales teams through product training, ride-alongs, and technical guidanceAssist dealers with quoting, product selection, and application recommendationsManage assigned territory travel schedule efficiently to maximize customer engagementMaintain CRM records, sales activity reports, and opportunity trackingDevelop and maintain strong technical knowledge of products and excavator attachment applicationsCollaborate with internal support, marketing, production, and leadership teamsRequirements3+ years of experience in construction equipment, attachments, heavy equipment sales, or related industryStrong understanding of excavators, hydraulics, and construction equipment applicationsProven ability to develop and maintain customer and dealer relationshipsExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsSelf-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilitiesAbility to travel extensively within assigned territoryValid driver's license and acceptable driving recordProficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systemsMust live within the assigned territoryBenefits/PerksCompetitive salary and 401(k)Company vehicle, computer, iPad, and phone providedComprehensive health, dental, and vision insuranceThorough product training at corporate headquarters, with ongoing support3 weeks of vacation to startUnlimited budget for client entertainment (games, dining, etc.)Opportunity to work with cutting-edge, market-leading excavator technologyA collaborative team culture that encourages open discussion and new ideasAimHire is an equal opportunity employer.
