Territory Manager / Rayonmanager – Airway (OR & ICU)Central, East & North NetherlandsTake a market-leading airway portfolio into some of the biggest hospitals in the east and north of the Netherlands, starting with the ones it hasn't reached yet.About the companyOur client is an established international medical device company with more than forty years' history. Its airway portfolio covers video laryngoscopy and single-use flexible bronchoscopy, and is used daily in operating theatres, intensive care units and emergency departments. In the Netherlands it sells direct, not through distributors. The roleThis role covers the central, eastern and northern Netherlands. A colleague covers the west, and the two of you work as a pair, sharing intelligence and tender experience and building on each other's work. This is a build role, and that's where the opportunity is. There's an established customer base to grow. Alongside it are several of the largest hospitals in the region where there is no relationship yet. Opening them is the core of the job, and it's where the earning potential sits. Why this roleA leading product that clinicians already rely on, in hospitals that don't have it yet.Real earning potential: a substantial bonus alongside a competitive base, driven by the territory you build.A genuine partnership with your West Netherlands colleague, not a patch run in isolation.Strong backing: full product training, dedicated European airway marketing support working closely with the field, and management support on tenders.A company car and a permanent contract. The territoryGroningen, Friesland and Drenthe; Overijssel and Flevoland; Gelderland; eastern Utrecht province; and northern Limburg down to Venlo. Key cities include Groningen, Zwolle, Enschede, Arnhem, Nijmegen and Venlo. The ideal base is Utrecht or Amersfoort, or anywhere from which you can cover the region well. This is a field role, with regular driving across the whole area. What you'll doBuild relationships with anaesthesiologists, intensivists, emergency physicians, pulmonologists, OR and ICU teams, and hospital procurement.Grow the existing customer base, and open major hospitals where there is no relationship yet.Lead tenders for your accounts, with support from regional and country management.Work closely with your West Netherlands colleague, sharing information and building on each other's work.Develop clinical advocates and key opinion leaders across your region. You'll be fully trained before running the territory, with product training in the Netherlands and ongoing support. What we're looking forCommercial experience selling medical devices into hospitals. From around a year upward is worth a conversation; what you've built matters more than how long it took.A real understanding of how Dutch hospitals buy: purchasing processes, tenders, budgets, and who actually decides.Exposure to operating theatres, ICU, anaesthesia or emergency care, commercial or clinical, is a strong advantage. Airway experience is a plus, not a requirement. A clinical background (for example operatieassistent, anesthesiemedewerker, IC-verpleegkundige or physiotherapist) combined with commercial experience is very welcome. You work naturally as part of a team. This role only succeeds in close partnership with your West Netherlands colleague. You're motivated by earning well. A substantial part of the package is bonus, and you're open about wanting it.Large hospitals with no existing relationship energise you more than an established base reassures you.Fluent Dutch and professional English. Training and part of internal communication are in English, so you need to be comfortable working in English day to day, not just able to.A valid driving licence.Apply via LinkedIn with a CV in Dutch or English.
