Their products run on production lines across food and beverage, plastics, packaging, metal fabrication, building products, aerospace, and energy equipment, and inside the machines built by the OEMs serving those industries.This is a field sales seat, not a phone seat. You will be on plant floors with maintenance and reliability managers, controls engineers, and OEM design teams, finding where downtime and manual inspection are costing them money, then engineering the solution that fixes it.Why this territoryManufacturing capacity is still moving into Texas. You inherit an installed base to grow and real whitespace to open.What you will doOwn revenue, pipeline, and forecast for North TexasCall directly on manufacturing plants and OEM machine buildersWalk production lines to identify sensing, connectivity, and condition monitoring applicationsBuild project pipeline from single-sensor trials to plant-wide rolloutsGet specified early with OEMs so the standard follows the machine into the fieldGrow existing accounts into new lines, plants, and divisionsProspect and open new accounts in target industriesPull in application engineers and product specialists on technical opportunitiesKeep CRM activity and forecasting currentWhat you need3+ years of B2B sales calling on manufacturing plants or industrial customersConsultative, application-based selling, not transactional order takingComfort on a plant floor and in a technical conversation with an engineerA record of opening new accounts, not only servicing existing onesHome base in the Dallas and Fort Worth metroplexStrongly preferredSensors, automation, controls, instrumentation, motion, or related industrial componentsExperience selling to both end user plants and OEM machine buildersTechnical or engineering degree, or equivalent hands-on industrial backgroundFamiliarity with PLCs, industrial networking, IO-Link, or condition monitoringCompensation and benefitsBase salary: $127,000 to $145,000OTE $180,000Incentive and commission plan on top of baseCompany carFull benefits, family-owned culture, strong work-life balanceDirect product experience is not required.
